EAHP Corporate governance training is geared towards enhanced understanding of principles, policies and processes through a review to beef up means for the board to provide oversight by ensuring that there are effective structures for the board to perform its mandate; decision making, ethics and control systems as well as self – evaluation for board members critical for EAHP attainment of its mission, objectives and strategies to contribute to its vision of a healthy and productive EAC population.

- What you’ll learn
The objective of the training is EAHP board members corporate governance capability enhancement through new knowledge, application of oversight competencies and experiences to deliver EAHP mission and contribute to the vision.
To attain the above objectives the board training intervention will impart governance knowledge and skills to EAHP board members in an interactive virtual – facilitation learning process informed partly by the board review and board members self – assessment prior, during and after the training sessions on the following key areas board roles and responsibilities, decision making, ethics and control systems. Thus, board members will learn
